Organisational Planning

Nursing Service
TasPrac Nurses are provided with Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) and other disease management systems training to assist GPs in accessing the new EPC items and optimising Patient care processes.

  • Daily contract of nurses available for an annual period.
  • Access to a fully trained nurse.
  • Nurses can provide support in accessing EPC items such as case conferencing, care planning and assessments. (EPC items ensure excellent investment return).
  • Nurses can also provide support with accreditation, immunisation, chronic disease work-ups or other duties as defined by the contracting GP
  • Monthly billing of nurse service improves short-term cash flow within the practice
  • Minimal GP disruption - nurses establish systems on behalf of the GP.

Information Technology
The increasing utilisation of IT and IM strategies and mechanisms in General Practice has led to a clearly defined need for support in this complex and rapidly evolving area.

Services offered:

  • Telephone Help Desk Support. This involves access to trained and skilled System Technicians who will give support on minor technical hitches and problems with practice based systems.
  • Technical Call-Out. This service provides support when technical failure or breakdown occurs within practices. A System Technician will diagnose and repair equipment faults on site within a reasonable time-frame and cost. Lower priority needs such as software updates, hardware and software installations as well as transfer of information between old and new systems will also be attended to.
